Job Overview

Ultraprotect Security Inc. is seeking professional, alert, and experienced Tactical Security Guards to join our growing team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive security patrols, loss prevention, surveillance, and incident response. This role requires a solid security presence, excellent observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional security services.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned sites.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and monitor assigned areas for suspicious activities and potential security risks.
- Perform proactive loss prevention duties, including monitoring for shoplifting, theft, and other security concerns.
- Observe, identify, and respond appropriately to suspicious behaviour, security incidents, and safety hazards.
- Intervene in incidents professionally and safely, following company policies, site procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Assist with apprehensions and incident management in accordance with applicable laws, training, and company protocols.
- De-escalate confrontational situations using effective communication and conflict-resolution techniques.




- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain effective communication with management, supervisors, and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures, occupational health and safety requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Security Worker Licence in the applicable province (mandatory).
- Previous experience in retail security, loss prevention, or tactical security is considered an asset.
- Strong observation, situational awareness, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in challenging situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing extended periods of standing, walking, and patrolling.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Current First Aid certification is an asset.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
