Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and fluent French Teacher to lead our after-school French enrichment program for children in grades [K-G8]. In this role, you will create an engaging, immersive, and fun environment where students can learn and practice the French language through interactive games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and conversation.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan & Deliver Lessons: Design and lead age-appropriate, interactive, and structured French lessons that focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Foster Engagement: Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally rich classroom workplace using games, songs, drama, and hands-on activities.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment, ensuring positive behavior management for children of varying ages.
- Student Assessment: Monitor student progress and participation, providing gentle guidance and encouragement.
- Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with parents by providing brief updates on daily activities and student progress when necessary.
- Safety & Attendance: Take daily attendance,



follow all school safety guidelines, and ensure proper dismissal procedures are strictly followed.

Qualifications & Skills

- Language Proficiency: Native or bilingual fluency in French (written and spoken) with clear pronunciation.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching, tutoring, or working with children in a classroom, camp, or after-school setting.
- Education: Degree or coursework in Education, French Language, Linguistics, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Interpersonal Skills: High energy, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Certifications: Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and a clean background check

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
