Job Summary

Operate an edgebander in a manufacturing workplace, preparing materials, setting up equipment, and producing finished components to quality standards. This hands-on role combines machine operation, measurement, material handling, and careful inspection to support reliable production.

Duties

- Set up and operate the edgebander, following work instructions and safe operating practices.
- Measure and inspect components using calipers, basic math, and quality control procedures; identify and report defects.
- Handle materials and finished parts with appropriate hand tools and forklift equipment, then package completed work.
- Keep the work area organized and coordinate production needs with colleagues. Your impact: accurate,

Qualifications

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, manufacturing or machining familiarity, blueprint reading, basic measurement, and safe equipment operation support effective edgebander work. Preferred: Experience with CNC, CNC programming, Fanuc, programmable logic controllers, press brake machines, CNC lathes or milling machines, CAD or SolidWorks, welding, assembly, packaging, quality control, calipers, hand tools, forklifts, or warehouse operations is advantageous.

Pay: $17.99-$25.00 per hour
