About the Position

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable Part-Time Guest Services Representative/Night Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with guests, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment.

Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred. Basic experience with OPERA Cloud is required or strongly preferred. Training will be provided on property-specific procedures and systems.

Guest Services

- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room changes through the OPERA CLOUD PMS.
- Handle guest payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Resolve guest issues independently or escalate when necessary.

Financial and Audit Functions

- Perform nightly audit procedures and close out the business day.
- Balance and reconcile daily revenue from all hotel departments.
- Verify room rates, charges, payments, and adjustments.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.
- Reconcile cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Ensure accuracy of guest folios and billing records.

Operations and Administration

- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor hotel activity throughout the night.
- Complete end-of-day reports and system backups as required.
- Conduct security checks of hotel facilities and grounds.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding overnight issues.
- Prepare materials and reports for the morning management team.

Safety and Security

- Monitor hotel security systems and surveillance equipment.




- Follow emergency procedures and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain a secure environment for guests, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience is preferred.
- Basic OPERA Cloud experience is required or strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Physical & Working Requirements
- This is an active, standing position. The successful candidate must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during a shift.
- Ability to move around the front desk and guest areas as required.
