Zion Park Manor is a faith-based Long Term Care Seniors’ facility in Cloverdale, BC and is currently accepting applications for CASUAL ACTIVITY AIDE to be part of our energetic Recreation team. We are looking for a creative and caring person who will honour our elders. Staff will facilitate resident-centered activity programs under the general direction of the Director of Activities.

Educational Requirements:

Applicants must have a grade 12 diploma plus completion of recognized Recreation / Therapeutic Recreation Program plus recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

-Must have Class 4 vehicle license or be able to obtain one within 1 year.

-Ability to teach and lead recreation programs and events





-Be able to lead fitness for seniors

-Creative ability – Music, Theatre, Arts, planning events

-Ability to organize workload

-Must have empathy towards residents and be able to work well with them.

-Be able to deal with difficult situations

-Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

-Must be able to physically carry out the duties of the position

-Ability to operate related equipment and be computer literate

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $31.64 per hour
