Home care workers support people in their homes with daily routines, personal care, and practical household tasks. The role calls for respectful, attentive support that helps individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities

- Assist with patient care and senior care, adapting support to each person’s needs, including dementia care, hospice care, and care for individuals with disabilities.
- Help with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, cleaning, and other everyday activities; use safe techniques when heavy lifting is needed.
- Support medication administration according to the individual’s care plan and established procedures, and communicate relevant observations to the care team.

Skills

Required: Practical caregiving, patient care, home care, meal preparation, cleaning, explicit communication, and safe assistance with mobility are important for daily duties. Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, nursing, medication administration, and experience working with individuals with disabilities can strengthen your contribution.

Pay: $17.60-$24.48 per hour
