Forefront Tile is looking for an experienced, self-sufficient tile installer to take on contract projects throughout Greater Victoria and surrounding areas.
This is an independent contractor prospect, not an employee position. We’re looking for an established installer who can work independently, take pride in their workmanship and consistently deliver quality results with minimal supervision.
We’re interested in building a working relationship with reliable contractors who want consistent project opportunities and the opportunity to be part of a growing team.
What We’re Looking For
- Several years of professional tile installation experience.
- Ability to independently manage installations from preparation through to completion.
- Strong knowledge of layout, substrate preparation, waterproofing, setting and finishing.
- Experience with a variety of tile types, formats and installation methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work through problems independently.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Reliable, organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, contractors and other trades.
- Strong English language comprehension is essential, including the ability to understand project specifications and instructions and communicate effectively on site.
The Work
- Residential and renovation tile installation projects.
- Independent work with minimal supervision.
- Consistent project opportunities for the right contractors.
Location & Transportation
- Projects are located throughout Greater Victoria, with occasional work in surrounding areas and further afield.
- A reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment is required.
- Contractors must be self-sufficient and able to travel independently between job sites.
Compensation & Opportunity
