Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, including burritos, bowls, and other menu offerings
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order accuracy
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold restaurant policies on food handling, sanitation,
and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds as needed
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
