We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing and Pipefitting Instructor to join our faculty team in Estevan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, with strong expertise in plumbing and gas fitting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Instruct and guide students in plumbing and pipefitting principles, focusing on both theory and practical applications.
- Provide instruction and support to learners with varying learning and language abilities.
- Offer timely feedback and maintain positive communication with students to ensure successful learning outcomes.
- Maintain industry contacts and stay current on trends to ensure curriculum relevance.
Qualifications:
· Grade 12 or equivalent.
· Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in Plumbing,
with a domestic gasfitters license (minimum) for Saskatchewan.
· Two years’ recent, relevant post-Journeyperson experience in Plumbing and Gas Fitting.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and instructional abilities.
· Competence with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
· Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and changing environments.
· A team-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning workplace.
