Enjoy operating machinery and seeing the difference your work makes? Join LP Landscape Plus to plow and salt sidewalks from an enclosed sidewalk tractor, helping people reach the places they need to go throughout the winter.

Machinery-operating experience is preferred, but not required—we will train. Bring reliability, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Is this you?

You take pride in careful equipment operation and a job finished properly. You notice obstacles, respect pedestrians and property, and stay focused when conditions change. You’re comfortable following route instructions, communicating with your supervisor and asking questions rather than guessing.

The work

Your primary responsibility is operating an enclosed sidewalk tractor to plow and salt assigned sidewalks. You’ll follow route maps, designated snow-placement areas and property-specific instructions, applying salt according to company direction.

You’ll complete pre- and post-shift equipment checks, keep your tractor clean and ready for its next assignment, and report defects or unsafe conditions promptly.

You’ll also record your time and service activity accurately in LMN, including required notes and photos.

What success looks like

- Reliable response: You arrive prepared for scheduled shifts and communicate attendance issues before your start time.
- Careful, complete route work: Assigned sidewalks are plowed and salted to site requirements, with incomplete areas or access problems reported before leaving.
- Equipment and records looked after: Checks and service records are complete, and hazards, damage or equipment concerns are reported during the same shift.

Where it goes

Build your equipment-operating skills this winter, with the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment in spring. A year-round position is an opportunity, not a guarantee.

Additional snow-haulage assignments offer the opportunity to earn up to $40/hour while performing that work.
