Overview

HM Vocational Consulting is welcoming expressions of interest from vocational rehabilitation professionals for potential opportunities across Canada.

We are interested in connecting with individuals who bring experience in vocational assessment, rehabilitation planning, disability management, employment counselling, or related services.

Opportunities may vary depending on qualified qualifications, experience, location, and service requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

- Conduct vocational interviews, assessments, and transferable skills analyses.
- Develop individualized vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work plans.
- Provide vocational counselling, employment readiness support, and career development services.
- Conduct occupational research and labour market analyses.
- Coordinate vocational rehabilitation services and monitor participant progress.
- Prepare professional reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation professionals, employers, and other service providers as appropriate.
- Facilitate vocational rehabilitation programs, workshops, or employment-related training.

Qualifications

Required:

- Post-secondary education in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, social work, counselling, disability management, career development, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in vocational rehabilitation, employment services, disability management, or a related area.
- Strong interviewing, communication, analytical,



and professional documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Familiarity with Canadian employment and labour market resources.

Preferred

- Professional designation such as CVRP, CCVE, CCDP, CDMP, or equivalent.
- Experience conducting vocational assessments, transferable skills analyses, or labour market research.
- Experience with disability insurance, workers' compensation, or return-to-work services.
- Experience in vocational case management, employment counselling, or program facilitation.
- Experience delivering services remotely.
