Job Overview

The Counselling Therapist supports each person through thoughtful, compassionate counselling and coordinated care. Working with patients and colleagues, this role contributes to individualized support, clear case documentation, and treatment planning to build a outstanding team and positive work environment at Well Within Counselling in Steinbach.

This role is mostly in person at the Steinbach office, but also includes some online sessions as well. Hours can be flexible - daytimes, evenings, and weekends are available.

Duties

- Provide counselling support tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Manage cases, document case notes, and a treatment plan.
- Respond to client emails, collect payment, and keep a clean office.
- Maintain CEC as required by your counselling licensing board.
- Clear coordination helps patients and colleagues work toward consistent, informed care. Making an effort to be warm, caring, efficient, professional,



and confidential.
- Maintaining appropriate supervision (supervision not provided).

Qualifications

Required: Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology, Counselling, or Marriage & Family Therapy

Required: CCC Designation or RMFT Designation

Required: Practical communication, accurate documentation, and case coordination capabilities support effective patient care. Your theoretical orientation informs your treatment planning and methods of care for each patient.

Preferred: Experience in the field, and/or special education that can strengthen contributions to counselling.
