iFurniture Calgary is looking for a motivated, results-driven Furniture Sales Associate to join our team!

We are seeking an individual with outstanding sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

This is primarily a sales-focused position. We highly value candidates who can confidently engage customers, recommend suitable products, build strong relationships, and consistently achieve sales goals.

Previous furniture sales experience is highly preferred. Experience in furniture assembly, handling, or showroom setup is an additional asset, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers with furniture selection, product inquiries, and purchasing decisions.
- Explain product features, materials, dimensions, functionality, and pricing.
- Use effective sales techniques to close sales and achieve individual sales targets.
- Follow up with potential customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Process quotations, orders, and payments using the company's sales system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom and stock area.
- Assist with daily store operations, inventory management, promotions, and showroom displays.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Availability to work weekends and statutory holidays is mandatory.
- Ability to work scheduled weekday shifts until 8:00 PM.




- Physically capable of safely lifting and moving items weighing approximately 50 lbs (23 kg), when required. Appropriate equipment and team assistance are used for heavy or bulky items.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to engage customers, identify their needs, and close sales.
- Good English communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn sales software.
- Must provide two professional references prior to hiring.

Assets / Preferred Qualifications

- Previous sales experience in a furniture store, particularly with sofas, mattresses, beds, or home furnishings.
- Demonstrated success in retail sales and achieving sales targets.
- Prior experience in furniture assembly or installation, especially assembling showroom display models.
- Experience safely assisting with moving, positioning, or rearranging large furniture items, including sofas and beds.
- Professional customer service background.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, construction, and product features.
- Willingness to assist with showroom setup and display adjustments.

Furniture assembly experience is NOT mandatory. Candidates with exceptional sales skills are strongly encouraged to apply,



even without furniture assembly experience.

Compensation & Benefits
