VPI Employment Services is partnering with a local café and restaurant (Financial Dr & Mississauga Rd) to host a recruitment event for Shift Supervisor, Team Member and Kitchen Helper opportunities in Brampton.

Available Positions
1. Shift Supervisor
Responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts
- Assigning tasks and supporting team members
- Ensuring friendly service and timely order preparation
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving concerns
- Monitoring food safety, cleanliness and workplace standards
- Supporting inventory checks, restocking and cash handling
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Requirements:
- Previous food service, café or restaurant experience OR any form of supervisory experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset
- Strong communication, organization and customer service skills
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to handle competing priorities
- Versatile availability, including evenings and weekends
2. Team Members / Lobby Help / Kitchen Helpers
Responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly service
- Taking orders and assisting with customer inquiries
- Serving food and beverages
- Keeping the dining area clean and organized
- Restocking supplies and supporting daily operations
- Working with the team to provide a positive customer experience
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations
- Organizing and restocking kitchen supplies
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Requirements
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and completing physically active tasks
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Previous restaurant, café or food service experience is an asset
