Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves creating beautiful hairstyles, providing personalized consultations, and ensuring clients leave satisfied and confident. The Hair Stylist will also assist with retail sales and maintain a clean, sanitized work setting to uphold the highest standards of sanitation and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, perms, and special treatments.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and building lasting client relationships.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients,
and handling payments efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment.
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations.
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client experience and increase sales.
- Previous experience with retail sales and front desk responsibilities is preferred but not required.
