Job Title: Water Well Technician
Location: Foothills County & Surrounding Areas (Alberta)

Wage: Based on experience
Hours: 40 hours (plus overtime when required)

Schedule: Weekdays + some weekends as required.

About the Role

We are a quick-growing water well servicing company seeking a Water Well Technician to join our team. This role involves working on water wells, pressure systems, and water treatment systems such as softeners and reverse osmosis units. You’ll assist with installations, service, maintenance, inspections, and repairs across rural properties in the Foothills and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation and servicing of:

- Submersible pumps, pressure tanks, control boxes
- Water softeners, reverse osmosis units, and filtration systems
- Cisterns and rural pressure systems
- Perform flow tests and basic water quality checks
- Troubleshoot and repair well and filtration systems
- Maintain accurate job records and assist with inspection documentation
- Follow safe work practices and maintain job site cleanliness




- Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements

- Must live in the Foothills region or nearby
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working long days outdoors
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools
- Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Assets (Preferred but Not Required):

- Experience in water well servicing, plumbing, or water treatment
- Electrical or plumbing background

Training will be provided for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a trade skill and work alongside experienced professionals.
