The Holiday Inn by the Falls and Coco’s Restaurant located on Murray Hill, Niagara Falls, is looking for a Breakfast Server to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Buffet Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable breakfast experience for hotel guests. This position involves preparing and setting up the breakfast buffet, replenishing food and beverages, maintaining food quality and presentation, and ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized throughout service. The successful candidate will provide friendly and attentive guest service, assist with daily breakfast operations, and follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel service standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-oriented hospitality environment.

Shifts: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part Time

Compensation: $17.95 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications:

· Valid Smart Serve certification

· At least 1 year of serving experience preferred.

· Great multitasking, communication, and time management skills.

· Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

- Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet before opening, ensuring all food items are properly displayed and presented.
- Replenish buffet items throughout breakfast service to ensure food is consistently available and well-stocked.




- Monitor food presentation, freshness, quality, and temperature to maintain food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet area, dining room, tables, and service stations.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Clear and clean tables promptly, including sanitizing tables and chairs between guests.
- Wash, organize, and restock dishes, cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other dining supplies.
- Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and other breakfast beverages and ensure they are replenished regularly.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the breakfast area is properly cleaned and reset following the completion of service.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth breakfast operation.
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
