Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server/Bartender to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused environment. This role combines serving guests, preparing and serving beverages, processing transactions, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining area. Candidates should be comfortable balancing multiple priorities while delivering thoughtful customer service.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with established procedures.
- Use the POS system to enter orders, process payments, and maintain accurate guest checks; experience with Micros POS is helpful.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including cashiering and making change.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper sanitation and responsible beverage service.
- Keep service stations and guest areas clean,



organized, and stocked.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support smooth service.
- Use time management, basic math, and attention to detail to manage orders and transactions during busy periods.

Experience

- Restaurant, food service, or broader food industry experience is preferred.
- Previous serving and bartending experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems is required or preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service and hospitality skills.
- Comfort with cash handling, cashiering, basic math, and accurate payment processing.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices, or willingness to learn and follow training.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and remain attentive in a quick-paced service environment.

Pay: $17.95-$18.00 per hour
