Minted Search Group is hiring on behalf of our client, an established public accounting firm looking for a Compilations and Tax professional. This role owns files from start to finish. You work directly with clients and partners, and you see the full picture on every engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete compilation engagements from start to finish, from planning and working papers through to final deliverables
- Prepare financial statements using CaseWare
- Prepare personal (T1) and corporate (T2) tax returns from start to finish
- Use TaxPrep or ProFile to prepare and file returns
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on their files, gathering information and answering questions
- Identify issues and tax planning opportunities and raise them with managers and partners
- Manage your own file load and meet deadlines through busy season
Requirements
- CPA designation (required)
- Public accounting experience with compilation engagements and T1 and T2 returns
- Hands-on experience with CaseWare
- Experience with TaxPrep or ProFile
- Able to run a file independently from start to finish
- Strong communication skills and comfortable dealing directly with clients
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
