We provide temperature-controlled storage, cross-docking, rail and container handling, and distribution for food producers, retailers and distributors across Canada. Our GFSI-certified facility keeps products safe and moving.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. You'll help receive, store, pick and ship frozen and chilled products in a fast-paced cold storage environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, containers and rail cars
- Receive, inspect and put away pallets
- Pick, pack and stage orders accurately
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack or reach truck [as certified]
- Scan inventory and update records in our warehouse system
- Check product for damage, labelling and temperature issues
- Follow food safety, GMP and GFSI requirements
- Keep work areas clean,
organized and safe
- Work comfortably in cooler and freezer environments
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience (cold storage or food handling is an asset)
- Valid forklift certification (an asset; training may be provided)
- Able to lift up to [50] lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures with provided gear
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first attitude
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work in Canada
