The Furniture Guys builds custom office furniture and millwork (desks, storage, reception counters, wall panels, kitchens) in our Toronto shop at 22 Arrow Rd (Finch & Weston). We're looking for an experienced builder who can take a job from drawings and cut parts to finished, wrapped product with little supervision.

What you'll do:

- Read shop drawings and cut lists, and plan your own build sequence

- Assemble cabinets, pedestals, desks, hutches and custom millwork from CNC-cut, edgebanded parts

- Do the work the CNC doesn't: cut on the table saw, rout, jigsaw and trim

- Install hardware: drawer slides, hinges, locks, pulls, height-adjustable bases

- Check quality, fix problems as you find them, then wrap, label and stage the work for delivery

- Help on site installs when needed

What you bring:

- 3+ years building cabinets, furniture or millwork in a shop

- Confident and protected with a table saw, router, jigsaw, drills and hand tools

- Can read drawings and measure accurately in imperial and metric

- Works on their own, solves problems,



and finishes complex jobs without step-by-step direction

- Laminate, melamine or solid surface experience is an asset

- Driver's licence is an asset

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, full-time, permanent.

Pay: $25/hr.

Location: 22 Arrow Rd, North York (Finch & Weston).

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

- Toronto, ON M9M 2L7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
