We are looking for motivated and client-focused RIBO Level 1 Licensed Insurance Brokers to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable speaking with clients, and interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up with prospective insurance clients
- Work with leads provided by the brokerage as well as develop your own business
- or Auto, Home, Commercial, and other insurance products based on experience and market availability Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Provide quotes
- Explain insurance coverage, limits, deductibles, and available options to clients
- Complete applications and collect required underwriting information
- Follow up on quotes and convert prospects into clients
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information in the brokerage management system
- Provide professional and responsive customer service
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Follow RIBO requirements, brokerage procedures, and applicable insurance regulations
Lead assistance will be provided, although brokers are also encouraged to develop their own referral network and prospect for new business.
Qualifications
- Valid RIBO Level 1 licence in Ontario
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-oriented and comfortable speaking with prospective clients
- Self-motivated and able to manage leads independently
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Professional attitude and customer-service mindset
- Previous insurance or sales experience is an asset
