Responsibilities

- Perform qualified dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and care
- Maintain patient comfort by providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly




- Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and sterilizing instruments

Skills

- Proficiency in dental software systems like Oryx for record keeping and scheduling
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology to assist with various treatments
- Strong customer service skills to create a positive patient experience from start to finish
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
