The Server/Bartender creates a welcoming dining experience by serving guests attentively, preparing and serving beverages, and supporting smooth restaurant operations. This role combines hospitality, accurate order handling, and thoughtful customer service in a fast-paced food service setting.
Duties
- Greet guests, explain menu options, take orders, and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while following food safety and food handling practices.
- Enter orders and payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and complete basic cashiering tasks.
- Coordinate with colleagues to keep service organized, respond to guest needs, and maintain a clean work area.
Skills
Required: Solid customer service, time management, basic math,
and cash-handling skills support accurate orders, payments, and responsive service. Food safety awareness and careful food handling help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Your impact: attentive service helps guests enjoy their visit and enables colleagues to coordinate smoothly. Preferred: Restaurant, food industry, or food service experience; serving and bartending skills; familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS; and hospitality experience.
