Position: Banquet Server/Bartender

Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: Banquet Supervisor/F&B; Manager

Position Summary: The Bartender/Banquet Server is responsible for providing excellent bar and banquet service by preparing and serving beverages, serving food, and ensuring timely, courteous, and efficient service to guests during events and functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide bar service to guests, including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including preparing tables, bar areas, serving stations, and buffet tables.
- Serve food and beverages to guests at their tables, ensuring prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Transport food from the kitchen to event tables and assist with buffet service by ensuring food stations remain stocked, clean, and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, banquet spaces, and service stations before, during, and after events.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring beverage supplies, restocking,



and reporting shortages as required.
- Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests during banquets, meetings, and special events.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless service and successful event execution.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and deliver excellent guest service at all times.
- Assist with other bar and banquet operational duties as required to support the smooth execution of events.

Smart Serve Training Program Certificate is required

Must be available weekend, evening and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 26 per week
