As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Technologist / Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working on a variety of project types and is looking to further develop their technical and design expertise in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of residential and commercial projects
- Prepare and submit development permit and building permit drawing packages for city approval
- Conduct building code reviews and land use bylaw analysis
- Perform site visits, field measurements, and prepare as-built drawings
- Produce detailed construction and working drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate project requirements with engineers, consultants, contractors, and municipal authorities




- Support project planning, design development, and construction documentation
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail throughout all project phases⁠

Qualifications:⁠

- Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of local experience in residential and commercial design, drafting and permit applications
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code requirements and municipal land use bylaws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for site visits

Assets:

- Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, and 3D visualization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with the planning and permitting processes for Rocky View County and different municipalities around Alberta

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
