Overview

We have been awarded the cleaning contract at all YMCA locations across the Lower Mainland. While we have staff and we are retaining staff, we also need several additional staff for porter duties (daytime and evening) at several locations.

Responsibilities

- Clean assigned areas, including floors and frequently used surfaces, using appropriate methods and supplies.
- Complete routine commercial cleaning tasks and maintain tidy, presentable facilities.
- Check work areas for maintenance concerns, report issues through established procedures, and support basic facilities maintenance as appropriate.
- Organize cleaning supplies and equipment, follow site procedures, and leave spaces ready for colleagues and visitors.
- Your impact: Consistent cleaning helps colleagues and visitors use clean, well-maintained spaces.

Experience

Required:



Practical cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow routines while keeping work areas orderly. Preferred: Commercial cleaning experience or familiarity with facilities maintenance and routine maintenance tasks can help you contribute confidently.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
