We are looking for an experienced Small Engine & Powersports Mechanic to join our service team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of powersports vehicles (ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles) and outdoor power equipment (lawn mowers, snowblowers, handheld power tools).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting on 2-stroke and 4-stroke small engines.
- Diagnose and repair power equipment, ATVs, side-by-sides, generators, and related machinery.
- Complete work orders accurately, including parts used and labor hours.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the shop manager and customers regarding repair estimates and timeframes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Prior experience servicing small engines or powersports equipment is preferred (Small Engine Technician license or equivalent hands-on experience is an asset).
- Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with major powersports and lawn/garden brands.
- Valid driver’s license (G license required).
- Own basic mechanics tool set.
- Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
