- Licensed Red Seal journeyperson's gas fitter.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience at heating and ventilation system installation and maintenance.
- Gas fitter "A" license required.
- Valid Driver's license, abstract required annually.
- Physically capable of performing all duties as required in this classification.
- Duties include: repair and maintain all divisional boilers, heat pumps, air handling units, and contractor's installation work, supervision and / or liaison with assistant(s), contractor(s) and other divisional personnel.
- Operate and maintain various power tools and mechanical equipment.
- Assisting other tradespersons as required, heavy lifting, etc.
- Other duties as assigned within skillset.
Hours of work primarily 6:30-3:30 Monday to Friday with afterhours/weekend work required from time to time.
Salary and perks as per CUPE 731 Collective Agreement. Some division locations are not serviced by public transit. Reliable means of transportation is required.
