Registered Counsellor / Psychologist – Kimberley or Cranbrook, BC

Employment or Independent Contractor Opportunity | Part-Time or Full-Time

Join a Practice Where Collaboration, Connection, and Professional Growth Matter

Are you a Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), or Registered Psychologist looking to join a collaborative and supportive clinical practice?

Converging Currents Counselling is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and engaged mental health professional to join our team in Kimberley or Cranbrook, BC.

We are open to both employment and independent contractor arrangements, depending on the experience, needs, and preferences of the right candidate.

At Converging Currents, we believe that good counselling goes beyond techniques and interventions. We value curiosity, authenticity, and a deeper understanding of the experiences and relationships that shape people's lives.

We also believe that counsellors do their best work when they feel supported, connected, and have opportunities to continue developing their skills. We've worked to create a practice where clinicians can learn from one another, share ideas, seek consultation, and feel part of something more than their individual caseload.

We're looking for someone who shares these values and is interested in growing with our practice over time.

Are You Someone Who...

- Is genuinely curious about people and wants to understand what's underneath their struggles, rather than simply addressing symptoms?
- Values ongoing professional development and is excited to continue growing as a clinician?
- Appreciates collaboration, clinical consultation, and learning alongside other counsellors?
- Is reflective, open to feedback, and willing to challenge yourself professionally?
- Believes that our relationships, attachment experiences, and personal histories play an important role in shaping who we are?
- Takes pride in providing thoughtful, ethical, and high-quality counselling?
- Enjoys being part of a team and wants to contribute to a positive, supportive practice culture?
- Is looking for a practice where you can build meaningful professional relationships and establish yourself over the long term?

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
