Purchase & Inventory Coordinator – HVAC & Refrigeration

Location: Scarborough, ON
Salary: $45,000–$60,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Are you organized, hands-on and good at keeping parts, orders and inventory on track Our client, an established HVAC and refrigeration service company supporting supermarket and commercial customers, is looking for a Purchase & Inventory Coordinator to join its team.

In this role, you’ll work directly with technicians and suppliers to keep essential parts and materials available, purchasing records accurate and the warehouse running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

*
Source and order parts, materials, tools and equipment; obtain pricing and coordinate deliveries.

*
Prepare, track and reconcile purchase orders and verify supplier invoices.

*
Maintain accurate inventory records, complete stock counts and coordinate replenishment.

Receive and inspect shipments, organize stock and distribute parts to technicians.

Help coordinate service vehicle restocking and track tools and equipment.

*
Handle supplier returns and warranty parts, following up on credits and refunds.

*
Assist with material pricing for job estimates and tracking project expenses.

*
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safe handling and disposal procedures.

What You Bring

*
Experience in purchasing, parts coordination, inventory control, shipping/receiving or related operations.

*
Familiarity with purchase orders, stock tracking and supplier coordination.

*
Strong organization, attention to detail and the ability to priorities multiple requests.

*
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

*
Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn HVAC and refrigeration parts.

*
Explicit communication and a helpful approach when working with technicians and suppliers.

*
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.

HVAC or refrigeration experience is an asset. Related experience in mechanical services, construction, facilities maintenance or industrial operations is also welcome.
