Responsibilities:
- Operate snow removal equipment to explicit sidewalks and other designated areas for commercial buildings
- Remove snow and ice from surfaces using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Spread salt or other de-icing materials to prevent slippery conditions
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall levels
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent and areas cleared
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience operating snow removal equipment preferred
- Ability to work in cold and inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Police Information Check
Note: This position requires availability during snowstorms and may involve working irregular hours or being on-call.
