Are you the kind of person who can make a nervous first-time caller feel instantly at ease? Durham Natural Health Centre is looking for a warm, organized Patient Care Coordinator for our Ajax clinic. You’ll be the first voice and face our patients meet, and you’ll help them start and stay with care that can really change how they feel.

Durham Natural Health Centre is an integrative naturopathic clinic with locations across Durham and the GTA, plus virtual care across Ontario. We focus on women’s health through perimenopause and menopause, a stage of life where many people feel unheard. We’re a small, close-knit team that is dedicated to empowering our patients through this life transition.

What you’ll do

- Welcome patients in person and by phone, and keep the front desk running smoothly
- Manage the schedule, check-ins and check-outs, and payments
- Take discovery calls with prospective patients: explain how we work, answer general (non-clinical) questions, and help them book their first visit
- Make retention calls to patients who are due for follow-up: help them rebook their care plans and gather feedback
- Keep patient records up to date and stay on top of the inbox and voicemail

What you bring





- A warm, confident phone manner. You enjoy talking with people
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Comfort with computers and learning new software
- Availability for some evenings and Saturdays
- A genuine interest in health and wellness

Bonus if you have

- Experience in a clinic, spa, or other front-desk role
- Experience with Jane App or another EMR system
- Customer service experience that involved following up or rebooking

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week

Experience:

- Customer service: 2 years (required)
