This Controller joins a growing accounting firm providing fractional Controller services to diverse clients. The position manages client relationships, oversees junior accountants, and maintains accurate, timely reporting. Cloud-based tools, QuickBooks, Sage 50, and advanced Excel support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of clients
- Oversee ledgers, reconciliations, AP, AR, and statements
- Lead and review month-end close processes
- Review and mentor two junior accountants
- Oversee GST, PST, and payroll deductions filings
Requirements:
- Canadian CPA designation required
- Robust month-end close and financial statement experience
- Technical accounting knowledge and practical application skills
- QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Sage 50 proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
