RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
· Show and describe goods or services
· Contact potential customers by phone
· Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
· Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
· Establish work schedules
· Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
· Assign sales workers to duties
· Train workers in duties and policies
· Telephone operators (supervision)
· Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
· Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
· Order merchandise
· Sell food products
· Authorize return of merchandise
· Organize and maintain inventory
· Conduct performance reviews
