Interior Health seeks an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant for its Medical Laboratory Department.

The role supports chemistry, hematology, microbiology, histopathology, cytology, and transfusion medicine services.

You will work in a tertiary hospital operating continuously as a regional referral site.

Key Responsibilities: Take blood and specimen samples from patients
Prepare blood and other specimens for analysis
Distribute specimens to departments and outside laboratories
Operate related laboratory equipment
Enter data into the Laboratory Information System
Requirements: Experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant
Reliable, flexible, and motivated approach
Interest in Medical Laboratory Science
Availability for rotating days, evenings, and nights
Ability to perform related clerical duties
Support secure laboratory services at Royal Inland Hospital through specimen collection, preparation, equipment operation, and data entry.
