Support patients at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd in Kitchener through personal care, vital signs measurement, and electronic documentation.

This is a temporary part time position.

The Personal Support Worker provides hospital-based assistance while supporting patient flow as required.

You will help patients with daily activities, communicate with families and staff, and provide customer service.

The work follows your education scope, hospital policies, and direction from Registered staff.

Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care to patients in hospital
Assist with activities of daily living
Measure and document patient vital signs
Support patient flow as required
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
Requirements: Recognized Personal Support Worker certificate
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Two to three years current experience as Personal Support Worker
Working knowledge of routine infection control practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bring personal care, vital signs, documentation, and communication skills to patient-centred service at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd.
