Lead insurance taxation strategy at Canada Life, applying Canadian tax expertise to product design, distribution, and customer outcomes. This permanent full time role advises business leaders. The Director, Product Taxation is a subject matter expert supporting the Insurance Solutions Division. You will consult across Product, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Actuarial, and Financial Underwriting. The role translates complex legislation into practical recommendations while balancing risk, customer needs, and objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Interpret legislation, regulations, court cases, treaties, and administrative positions Advise on product development, marketing materials, initiatives, and tax reporting Evaluate tax solutions, risks, implementation,



and corrective actions Analyze investment structures and fund product lifecycles Share expertise and participate in industry committees and task forces Requirements:

CPA designation or equivalent education and experience Six to nine or more years of related experience Canadian income tax and general taxation knowledge Experience with group products and investment fund taxation Research, communication, leadership, and professional judgment skills Bring insurance taxation expertise, technical judgment, and collaborative leadership to Canada Life’s product and business strategies.
