Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee welding and fabrication quality requirements for several CWB welding projects at our Brooks, Alberta facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, coordinating inspections, ensuring accurate documentation, and working closely with shop management and production personnel to deliver projects that meet customer and applicable code requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee quality control activities for welding and metal fabrication projects.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, welding procedures and inspection requirements.
- Monitor weld quality, fit-up and fabrication workmanship.
- Coordinate material traceability, inspection records,



testing and third-party inspections.
- Identify and document non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain welding documentation, qualification records and project quality files.
- Prepare inspection reports and final quality turnover packages.
- Work closely with shop supervisors, welders and project management.
