Overview

The Parts-Sales Technician supports customers and internal team by identifying parts needs, coordinating sourcing and purchasing, and maintaining accurate inventory information. This role connects customer service with procurement and supply chain activities, helping ensure the right parts are available when needed.

Responsibilities

- Respond to parts inquiries, clarify requirements, and provide helpful customer service using mechanical knowledge to identify suitable options.
- Communicate with customers professionally, clearly, and on time.
- Support purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiation, and demand planning to coordinate availability and replenishment.
- Prioritize tasks to support both customer success and profitability.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving parts; follow protected practices when using a forklift.
- Efficient with the use of computers and systems. Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Write up and initiate paperwork for incoming shop and field work.
- Follow all OH&S; and Quality requirements.

Experience

Required: Clear communication, customer service, accurate data entry (FullBay), and practical organization are essential for handling inquiries, records, and parts coordination. Preferred: Heavy truck parts experience and familiarity with purchasing, procurement, supply chain, sourcing, negotiation, mechanical parts, manufacturing, demand planning systems can help you contribute across varied parts needs. Pick up and delivery will be a duty in this role. knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas a strong asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
