About Us
Kekuli Bay Cabinetry has been building custom cabinets in the Okanagan for over 27 years. Our factory and showroom are in Vernon, BC, with a second showroom in Kelowna, and we partner in Kekuli-Klyn Kitchen & Cabinetry in Kamloops. This position is based at our Vernon factory. We’re a quick-paced shop that values good work and new ideas. Our goal is simple: Making Your Living Spaces More Livable.

The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented team member to start as soon as possible. You’ll begin in office and production support, with the chance to grow into more technical work.

What You’ll Do

Front desk and office

- Greet and assist visitors, creating a welcoming first impression
- Manage our multi-line phone system, directing calls, taking messages, and checking voicemail regularly
- Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Perform data entry and keep accurate filing systems, including shipping and invoice records
- Match invoices to packing lists and shipping confirmations
- Create and place Staples orders

Production documentation

- Prepare production folders, production stickers, door stickers, sample stickers, and installer packages
- Create factory-coloured folders and production folders for accounting

Showroom, sales, and marketing support

- Support the sales team with new items and colours
- Maintain showroom samples
- Help track and organize home shows and other marketing efforts, as needed
- Assist with general marketing duties, as needed

Workplace and team

- Keep the office and kitchen tidy
- Keep the lunchroom bulletin boards current (Health & Safety, social committee, staffing)
- Support the social committee, including birthday signs, hot lunches, and anniversary orders

Room to Grow
With training,



this role can grow into engineering support: entering cabinetry measurements and material lists, reviewing shop drawings, and maintaining cut sheets and job files. We’ll teach you our systems along the way.

What You Bring

- Proficient in general computer skills including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Word experience
- Strong computer skills, with experience in data entry and clerical tasks
- Experience with filing and front desk responsibilities
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette, including multi-line phone systems
- Strong attention to detail and organization

Assets (we’ll train the right person)

- Experience in cabinetry would be an asset
- Experience with cabinet design or drafting software (e.g., 2020 Design)
- Experience in a cabinet shop or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with cut lists, shop drawings, or production workflows

Schedule
Monday to Friday, day shift 8:30 to 4:30 pm
