Job Title: Junior Technical Sales Representative/ Sales AssistantPosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Junior Technical Sales Representative to support business growth by developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers, distributors, and agents, providing professional sales support throughout the entire customer journey—from initial inquiries and quotations to order processing, project coordination, and post-sales service.This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, customer relationship management, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, distributors, agents, and business partners.
- Proactively follow up on sales leads, customer inquiries, quotations, and outstanding opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products, solutions, and services.
- Work toward achieving established sales targets and business development objectives.

Customer Relationship & Account Management

- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing timely, professional, and effective support.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support, addressing customer questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate internally to ensure customer expectations are understood and fulfilled.

Quotation & Proposal Management





- Review customer specifications and requirements to determine the company's ability to meet project needs.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Ensure quotations and proposals are submitted within agreed timelines.
- Review product costs, selling prices, and spare parts pricing using historical purchasing and sales information.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities.

Order & Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Production and other internal departments to monitor order progress and provide customers with timely delivery updates.
- Support order processing and follow through on customer commitments.
- Communicate project requirements, delivery schedules, and potential changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and projects.

Commercial & Contract Administration

- Participate in commercial negotiations with customers and business partners.
- Review proposed contract terms and conditions and submit them to the Finance team for review and approval.
- Ensure pricing, quotations, and commercial documentation are accurate and comply with company policies and approval procedures.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation

- High school diploma required.
- Post-secondary technical education or Mechanical Engineering coursework is preferred.

Professional Experience

- Ideally three years of sales, business development, or customer account management experience.
- Experience in a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment is considered an asset.




- Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.

Technical & Professional Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM systems, ERP platforms, or other sales and order management software is an asset.
- Solid written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
