This Medical Device Reprocessing Technician role requires the MDR Techniques Course and MDRAO Certification. You will apply knowledge of medical supplies, sterilization indicators, scopes, steam procedures, and infection prevention. The position also involves recording results, following instructions, and handling changing priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate sterilizers and other reprocessing machinery
- Set up and maintain surgical instrument trays
- Handle scopes and surgical instruments according to procedures
- Record sterilization results clearly and neatly




- Follow precautions reducing potential nosocomial infections

Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent; post-secondary preferred
- Successful completion of Medical Device Reprocessing MDR Techniques Course
- MDRAO Certification
- Three years’ decontamination and sterilization experience preferred
- Solid communication, organization, judgment, and interpersonal skills
