Our client is seeking Labourers to support pipe coating operations in a busy industrial environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working as part of a team, and contributing to a safety-focused workplace. No experience is required, and full training is provided.
What's the Job?
- Operate control panels to help maintain a steady pipe coating process.
- Assist with foam application and inspect foam-coated pipe.
- Support the maintenance and operation of foam equipment.
- Assist with plant shutdown and start-up activities.
- Help forklift operators load and unload pipe.
- Build and maintain pipe racks.
- Prepare trucks for loading and unloading.
- Attend safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Complete required on-the-job training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
What's Needed?
- No previous experience required; full training provided.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work long shifts in an industrial environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for more than 90% of the shift.
- Ability to lift, push,
and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, on uneven ground, and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work around dust, noise, heavy machinery, and changing temperatures.
- Coating knowledge, safety awareness, and fast wire or kit-making skills are considered assets.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
- Ability to attend in-person interviews.
