Overview

The Lead Pest Control Technician coordinates pest control work, supports effective field operations, and helps customers address pest concerns through clear communication and practical service. The role combines hands-on equipment use with sales conversations and team coordination. As the lead technician you will also give guidance and support to fellow technicians. Must already have or obtain the required pest control certification within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

- Assess reported pest concerns, explain appropriate service options, and communicate next steps clearly to customers.
- Coordinate daily field activities, organize work priorities, and support consistent service delivery across assignments.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately while completing assigned field tasks.
- Operate or work around machinery as needed for relevant field operations, and maintain clear records of work completed.

Skills

Required: Practical communication, organization, and sound judgment support customer discussions, task coordination, accurate work records, and effective use of hand tools and power tools. Sales ability helps explain service options clearly and respond constructively to customer questions. Preferred: Experience with pest control fieldwork, team coordination, or customer-facing sales is advantageous, as is familiarity with machinery and varied field equipment. Use of ladders or boom lifts happens daily, must not be afraid of heights.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
