310T Truck and Coach Technician OR 310J Trailer Technician

Afternoon shift, Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri, 4x10-hour shifts/week

Mill Creek Motor Freight has an exciting prospect to join our Team! Our shop is looking for an experienced Trailer Technician and Truck and Coach Technician to work and grow with us.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- 310T or 310T Certification
- Must have own tools
- Experience shunting vehicles in yard (is an asset)
- General Knowledge of Shop processes
- Knowledge with various Makes/Models of Truck/Trailers
- Knowledge of Ministry of transportation rules/regulations
- Knowledge of the Transportation industry
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation.
- Welding & Electrical experience an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Maintain a fleet of owner-operator and company-owned trucks and trailers, including tire services
- Complete Preventative/Corrective & scheduled maintenance




- Ability to diagnose and complete required repairs
- Complete safety inspections/ annual inspections
- Ensure all equipment is in safe operating order in compliance with laws/legislation
- Complete work orders – basic computer skills required
- Communicate any additional information or additional repairs needed to management
- Perform duties in a safe manner/Wear required PPE
- Ability to keep work area clean & free of hazards
- Support in the development of apprentices

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

- 310T or 310T Certification (preferred)
- Driver's License (and own transportation) (preferred)
