We are a law firm located in Vaughan, Ontario, that represents financial institutions, and we are currently seeking a Junior Law Clerk specifically because our previous clerk has been promoted into a more senior role within the firm. This opening is a direct result of our commitment to internal career development, and we are looking for an ambitious individual to be our next success story.

This is an ideal entry-level position for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

We require at least one year of experience working in a law firm environment.

Please note that a car is necessary to do banking and registered mail.

Work location: 100% In-person

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicating with clients and any visitors to the firm in a professional manner.
- Receipt of mail and scanning to our system.
- Conducting searches in Teraview, MTO, PPSA and corporate searches.




- Filing and organizing files.
- Assisting lawyers and other staff members.
- Banking
- Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a law firm.
- Legal Assistant/Law Clerk certification from a recognized institution.
- Excellent attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe
