Your days will include:

- Supporting the administration and enrollment of benefits and pension plans for Farms division employees and back up for current employee orientation
- Conducting stay and exit interviews
- Communicating HR policies and procedures to Farms division employees and leaders, and answer related questions
- Co-Chair of the Health & Safety Committee
- Providing support to the RTW coordinator with injured employees, WCB claims and modified duties
- Establishing positive employer-employee relations
- Coaching managers and supervisors in addressing performance concerns
- Training new managers and supervisors on employee relations practices
- Advising managers and supervisors on progressive discipline and termination, ensuring consistency with policy and employment standards
- Conducting investigations into employee complaints and concerns, including respectful workplace concerns, and document findings
- Supporting employees through leaves of absence, including communication, documentation, and return to work
- Maintaining accurate employee records and data in HR and payroll systems (UKG), ensuring confidentiality





To succeed in this role, you must possess:

Education & Training

- Minimum: Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Preferred: CPHR designation (or actively working toward)

Knowledge, Skills, & Experiences

- 3 years in an administrative position
- 1 year working in Human Resources support
- Working knowledge of Manitoba Employment Standards, Workplace Safety & Health, and WCB requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other programs
