Build something exceptional. Work with a team that takes pride in what they do.

Cabinet Effects is looking for an experienced Lead Cabinet Installer to join our team and bring beautifully crafted, custom cabinetry to life in homes across Southwestern Ontario.

If you take pride in precision, enjoy solving problems, and believe quality workmanship is worth the extra effort, we'd like to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who understands that the details matter—sometimes down to 1/16 of an inch. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and understands the value of doing things right the first time.

Who we are

Cabinet Effects is a family-owned company specializing in high-end, custom cabinetry. We take pride in creating exceptional products and delivering a high-quality experience for our clients.

We believe great work starts with a great team. Our culture is built around mutual respect, accountability, open communication, and a shared commitment to quality.

We value character as much as skill and believe that coming to work should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. We work collaboratively, support one another, and take pride in the work we produce together.

Why join Cabinet Effects?

We believe in providing our team with the tools, support, and environment they need to do their best work.

Here's what you can expect:

- A positive, cooperative work environment where people are respected and their contributions matter

- A high-quality facility equipped with modern tools, machinery, and equipment
- A company that values quality over shortcuts and takes pride in the finished product
- An equipped company van and the tools necessary to complete your work

What you'll be doing

As a Lead Cabinet Installer, you'll play an important role in delivering the finished product to our clients. You'll be responsible for ensuring installations meet our quality standards while taking ownership of your projects and coordinating additional installation support when needed.

Our projects are primarily high-end residential renovations featuring custom cabinetry. Installations vary from individual cabinetry projects to complete home installations, offering variety in the work and the opportunity to work in different residential settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating installation projects, working independently or alongside an installation partner or assistant depending on project requirements
- Installing custom cabinetry, panels, and related components with precision and attention to detail
- Handling, loading, and transporting finished cabinetry to customer locations using a company-provided, equipped van
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and installation details
- Working collaboratively with designers and communicating professionally with customers

- Taking initiative to identify and resolve installation challenges while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas, including the proper care of tools and equipment

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who brings both technical ability and the right attitude to the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in custom cabinet installation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Practical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
- The ability to read, interpret, and adapt technical drawings and designs
- Strong measurement skills and the ability to calculate quantities accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work through challenges independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with team members, designers, and customers
- The ability to take initiative, stay organized, and work independently without constant supervision
- A valid Ontario G-class driver's licence

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, respects their teammates, and understands that the quality of the finished product reflects the entire team.
