This regular part time Food Service Worker I position supports Food Services Operations at Island Health’s Lady Minto Hospital. Duties include portioning meals, serving patients, washing produce, preparing tea, coffee, and toast, and cleaning dishes. Safety and quality remain central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare tea, coffee, and toast
- Wash dishes and utensils after service
- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
- Portion meals for food service operations
- Serve meals within the hospital

Requirements:

- Food Safe Level 1 certificate
- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Physical ability to carry out assigned duties
